Broke Gear

Every piece does one of four things. Carries your gear, carries a truth, carries a place, or says you belong here. Anything that does none of them is landfill with a logo on it. It does not get made.

The kit funds nights. It is not a clothing brand. The model is the one on the rest of this site: a $10 ticket, a room that costs about $1,000,000, and the hundred thousand people it takes to cover it. Gear is how somebody who cannot make the night still stands in it, and how the people who do show up find each other in a crowd.

Nothing here is for sale yet

No cart. No price on anything. Not one of these has been made. Nobody has quoted us a blank garment, a print, a run size or a shipping rate, so any number under a photo would be a number we invented.

The cost model on the ballot ships with all of its amounts blank for the same reason. A missing price is honest. A believable one is not.

Each piece carries a stage instead, saying how real it is. Some carry a hold: the one condition that has to be met before it can be made. If we are not making a thing, the reason is the interesting part.

The kit

Every piece has its own card. Open one to see it large, with the full six lines and any hold on it.

The sheets

The design sheets every piece above was cut out of. Working documents, not product photography. Four of them carry faults and say so.

The World Collection

One tee per nation, each carrying its own landmark in copper. Same argument the style cards in the studio make: you do not need a shared language to understand a drum, and a night that reflects one country is a smaller night.

Why none are cut yet

The drafts are drawn but not proofread, and the sheets have real errors in them. Misspelled country names. Two countries sharing one label. At least one nation filed on the wrong continent.

That is not cosmetic. Printing somebody's country wrong on a shirt that exists to say we see you does the opposite of what the shirt is for. So: no country tee prints until a person from that country has read it. Slower than a bulk upload. The only version worth making.

What we do not sell

Access

No VIP tier. No queue skip. No rope to buy your way past. The Field Agent lanyard is the closest thing to status here and it cannot be bought at all — it is issued after you work a build or a cleanup. A lanyard with a price is the rope we exist to refuse.

Health claims

Candles, oils and balms get scent language and nothing else. Nothing here treats, heals or prevents anything. No product will carry a drug reference, as a joke or as an aesthetic.

Fake scarcity

No "3 left" on a thing that does not exist. Pre-orders say what they are: money that funds the cut, before the cut, with a real wait attached.

Cheap junk

Nothing plastic that snaps once. No glow tat with no function. No city or country tee for a place this has not been. Every order ships with a repair card, because gear you can fix is the point.

When gear does go on sale, every claim about where the money went points at the same public ledger as everything else here. See the receipts.

Want a say in what gets made first?

Drop 1 is not settled. The ballot decides the order, and the write-in field means you can put something on it that is not here yet.
